I was curious about Bearpaw boots recently because I realized that they were selling like hotcakes on Amazon. So I went to the Bearpaw website and did some reading and surfing around to get a better understanding of the brand and what their about.

One thing that immediately got my attention as a theme for all Bearpaw boots is their low price. I think that could be the main reason why Bearpaw boots are selling so well on Amazon with hundreds of positive reviews is because they are affordable boots which doesn’t compromise on quality.

So I went on Amazon and looked through the bunch but I found this particular pair to be one of the best: The Women’s Bearpaw Dream.

By the way, at this moment as I am writing this review, these boots are rated #4 in the sherling and fur-trimmed boots category, and #6 in the pull-on boots category on Amazon, so I’m not reviewing some cheap garbage boots here.

So Lets see what makes the Bearpaw Dream such a great seller on Amazon.

How Warm?

The warmth is from these boots is derived from the sherling lining in the boot. If you don’t know what that means, it’s basically an inner lining, made of sheep skin. It’s woolly (because its sheep skin right?) really soft, and extremely comfortable.

It doesn’t have an inner boot like some of the Sorel snow boots, but the sherling lining of these boots will definitely provide a great deal of warmth a well.

Waterproof Outsole

We all know that waterproof is a must during winter. So it’s great that the Bearpaw Dream has a rubber outsole to prevent moisture from getting to your feet. It is important to note that the Bearpaw dream has a very flexible cupsole and outsole construction, which gives a greater level of comfort to your feet.

So Comfortable

This has got to be the one of the most important reasons why these boots are selling so well. In my opinion, these boots were designed with comfort in mind. The flexible outsole construction, soft shearling lining  and shearling footbed will make it extremely comfortable for each  and every step you take.

Style – UGG look alike?

I keep seeing these comments from some customers saying that the design of the Bearpaw Dream looks a lot like the popular design of UGG boots. They are not wrong to say so though. They really do look alike. The difference is that Bearpaw boots are MUCH cheaper. So if you love the UGG look but find them too expensive, this could be a great alternative.

Any Complaints?

It is said that these boots are smaller than actual size. Even the product description listed on Amazon advices that if you are half a size, just get a size up. So I think these boots are a little smaller than the normal size. Just keep that in mind if you decide to buy.

Make no mistake, these boots are a great alternative if you are looking for a pair of boots with the look of UGG boots. However, I don’t think their quality will be able to match those of UGGs. It wouldn’t make sense if they are comparable to UGG and still remain at such a low price. UGG would be out of business.

But that doesn’t mean that they don’t make a great ALTERNATIVE to UGG boots. There are hundreds of customers who rated these boots as 5 out of 5 stars and some even compared them to UGG boots.

Should you buy the Bearpaw Dream?

In my opinion, anyone who is looking for a cheap pair of snow boots should give these boots a try. For its price, the Bearpaw Dream is just an ubelievable value.

It isn’t so much of a hardcore snow boot, it is designed more with comfort and affordability in mind. But don’t get me wrong, walking on snow with these boots is still very very possible. For it’s price and comfort appeal, I can’t see why this won’t make a great pair of snow boots for anyone on a budget.

So my final verdict: The Bearpaw Dream is truly a dream for someone on a budget or who doesn’t want to spend too much on a pair of boots.
